Audit Lab

Where receipt evidence gets stress-tested

A thematic studio for financial auditing practice focused on receipts and reimbursements — packets, traps, and quiet critique.

What happens in the Lab

Each session opens a sealed-style claim packet: images, OCR dumps, policy excerpts, and a partial audit trail. You decide sample scope, mark exceptions, and defend the write-up to a peer who has not seen your notes.

We intentionally seed OCR overconfidence, bilingual vendor names, and tip lines that vanish between photo and export. The Lab is not a product demo; it is rehearsal for the messy middle of reimbursement review.

Lab stations

  • False-clear station

High OCR confidence receipts that still break policy — practice overriding the green light.

  • Alias desk

Vendor masters with near-duplicates; map clusters before recommending recovery.

  • Narrative table

Turn a pile of flags into one coherent finding for a controller who has ten minutes.
